The ‘Chook Book‘

The Chook Book is for young students aged between eight and 11 years. Consistent with the New Zealand teaching curriculum it covers:

  • Historical linkages between birds and people
  • Poultry meat and egg farming
  • Meat and egg consumption and the role of poultry in human nutrition

Poultry Biological Book

The Poultry Biology Book is a resource designed for high school students that offers a comprehensive overview of the poultry meat and egg industries, in line with the biology curriculum. The book includes 16 student exercises and provides factual information on chicken farming. It also delves into some of the more controversial topics of farming, the environment, and food safety.
